Echo Azure :: shawl knitting pattern

Echo Azure

€10

Echo Azure is a study on the interplay between variegated and solid yarns. Named after a butterfly with frosty, iridescent wings, the shawl is made of garter stitch, stripes, and shell stitches formed with knit-below stitches. Starting from the upper right corner, the shawl is knit on the bias to create an asymmetric triangle that is both comfortable to wear and fun to work on. A shell-stitch border and a stretchy bind-off finish off the design.

The pattern includes a step-by-step photo tutorial for knitting the shell stitch.
