Linnaea Socks :: sock knitting pattern

Linnaea Socks

€7.50

Linnaea Socks are a pair of cute toe-up socks knit in fingering-weight yarn. A dainty slip-stitch cable pattern creates a fun lattice effect that’s both quick to knit and easy to memorize. After a few cable twists you won’t even need a cable needle! The pattern is ideal for variegated yarns but works equally well with solid or semi-solid colors.

The socks are knit from the toe up with a stockinette sole, eye-of-partridge heel flap, and a twisted-rib cuff that emerges seamlessly from the cable pattern. The socks come in three sizes (60, 64, and 68 stitches) but both foot and leg length are adjustable within the stitch pattern. Right and left socks are identical and can be worked two at a time.

The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Both written and charted instructions are given for the slip-stitch cable pattern.
