Sirimiri :: shawl knitting pattern

Sirimiri

€10

Sirimiri is Spanish for ‘light rain’. Droplets made with single decreases, double decreases, and yarnovers fall from above in this all-over lace shawl. Knit in a summery wool/linen blend, the triangle-shaped shawl makes a perfect light-weight accessory.

The shawl pattern comes in two sizes — written for one or two skeins of light fingering-weight yarn — along with instructions for adjusting the shawl size based on available yardage. The shawl is finished with an elastic bind-off with optional beads.

Both written and charted instructions are provided for the lace pattern that takes a fair bit of concentration; the ability to read your knitting is recommended. The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology.
