Tour de Fleece 2012 - Day 5

The good thing about catching up on my podcast listening is finding out about other knitting podcasts. And the bad thing is – finding out about other knitting podcasts. Not exactly helping with my already long backlog. The Knit 1 Geek 2 girls mentioned the Electric Sheep a few times, and they were right: She’s very funny, has a dry wit and an awesome accent.

Today’s podcasts: episodes 1: Twitter & Kitsch and 2: Knit & Be Damned of the Electric Sheep podcast and half of episode 18: I Don’t Have a Problem! I Can Stop At Any Time! of Knit 1 Geek 2. Total spinning time: 1 hour 37 minutes.

I finished spinning the Metro (sadness) – the singles can rest until tomorrow before plying. I also started on some undyed mixed Finnsheep top from Wollinchen. It’s certainly a different fiber! The Polwarth was quite grabby and easy to spin. The Finnsheep, on the other hand, while softer than I expected is quite slick and tends to fly off. Loving the marled look of the single, though.
