Tour de Fleece 2012 - Days 9 & 10

Sunday was a busy day – I only got in about 15 minutes of spinning more Finnsheep singles sans podcasts.

Today was a much more productive day spinning-wise. I finished the singles, let them rest for a few hours, and plied them. That took three episodes of the Knitmore Girls plus some fifteen minutes extra. Total spinning time: 2 hours 24 minutes.

The bump was apparently very unevenly split – I didn’t bother to weigh the halves. Andean plying bracelet to the rescue, again!

Metro is also now finished, washed, dried, weighed and measured.

  • On Ravelry: Metro - TDF 2012 #1

  • Yardage: 270 m / 295 yd

  • Skein weight: 113 g / 4.0 oz

  • Yarn weight: 240 m/100 g or 1200 ypp

  • WPI: 9-10 (worsted weight)

  • Plies: 2-ply

I’m surprised of how neon green this turned out. Where did the blues and greys go?
