At a Crossroads

Whatever happened to the Crossroads cardigan? It grew up and turned into a wearable blanket. A very warm and cozy blanket but not terribly flattering. But the cats love it when I wear it – lots of biscuit baking action has happened in this cardigan.

  • On Ravelry: Crossroads Wearable Blanket

  • Pattern: Crossroads by DROPS Design

  • Yarn: 918 yd (840 m) of Schoeller+Stahl Elfin Color in color #0104

  • Needles: 6.0 and 7.0 mm

  • Mods: Front pieces in stockinette with a 5-stitch garter border. Cast on provisionally for the sleeves, did the sleeve caps and sewed them on before knitting down towards the cuff. I would’ve ran out of yarn but I managed to order some more in the same colorway and then had plenty to knit full-length sleeves. Added a little peplum in the back but it really doesn’t help with the fit.
