13 Sweaters in 2013: Full Circle Cardigan

This whole madness of making 13 sweaters in 2013 kind of started when I saw the photo for Triona Murphy’s Full Circle Cardigan. It would’ve been appropriate to end on it, too, but I got gifted the pattern on Ravelry and had to make it right away.

• Yarn: 1192 yd/1090 m of Garnstudio DROPS Big Merino in #13 Olive

• Needles: 5.5 mm

• Mods: lots

The yarn is marvelous, I love the pockets and have been wearing this a lot, but were I to make this again, I would add some shaping to the front neckline to make it fit better. For a $6 pattern, I’d expect a bit more, given that some other details – like the pockets and how the ribbing flows into the cable pattern – are very well thought out.
