Sidetracked

Startitis Week got sidetracked a little for sewing. When I realized I might run out of project bags, it was time to bust out the fabric stash** and try my hand at sewing a boxy bag. This is the Fully lined zippered box pouch from Pretty Modern which turned out really cute despite, ahem, issues*. But alas, too small to hold a knitting project! No matter, it’s a very roomy notions pouch.

*) When the designer notes she’s revised the instructions to make sewing easier, TRUST HER. I’ve learned (and certainly this time) that if zippers are involved, do what the instructions tell you to the tee – don’t think you know better. Saves a lot of time and teeth gnashing.
