Duo of Leftover Hats

What to do with leftover yarn from sweater projects? Knit hats, apparently.

  • On Ravelry: Rikke

  • Pattern: Rikke Hat by Sarah Young

  • Yarn: 160 yards/146 0 m of Araucania Nature Wool Solids in #50 Eggplant, left over from my Aleph

  • Needles: 4.0 and 4.5 mm

  • Mods: CO 96 sts, work brim for 13 garter ridges, then start crown decreases when hat measures 18 cm.

  • On Ravelry: Time Flies

  • Pattern: Tick Tock Toque by Knot Canadian

  • Yarn: 104 yards/95 m of Garnstudio DROPS Andes in #0100 Off White, left over from my Pistachio Ice Cream sweater

  • Needles: 8.0 and 10.0 mm (HUGE!)

  • Mods: CO 50 sts on 8 mm needles, worked in twisted rib for 8 cm, inc to 60 sts on last row of ribbing. Switched to 10 mm needles for lace. Decreased until 10 sts remaining.
