Re-Used
This cardigan was knitted for the Doubleknit podcast Cardi Party KAL in 2014. The yarn might look a little familiar… Remember Antler from 13 sweaters in 2013? When the cardigan was finished, I wrote:
I’ve been in denial about it ever since I tried the cardigan on the first time: it’s going to have to undergo some sweater surgery at some point. :( I added a bit of length to the body when knitting — which was a mistake. The cardigan is too long and doesn’t fit comfortably around my hips. Too bad the pattern is bottom-up, otherwise it would be an easy fix. Another mistake is the collar: it’s bound off too loosely and needs to be ripped out.
Instead of sweater surgery, I ripped it out completely and turned it into something I love to wear. RIP Antler.
On Ravelry: Titan Hoodie

Yarn: 869 meters (950 yards) of Garnstudio DROPS Alaska in #54m purple mix

What more can I say? I’m a sucker for cabled cardigans.
