It’s a good thing to have friends who are not only talented knitters but also talented designers. Every once in a while I get to test knit for them.

I love the lace pattern in the yoke. The cardigan is knit top down and has a really clever combination of a circular yoke followed by short raglan increases. There’s also ingenious shaping in the body: waist shaping and back shaping to prevent the low back from sagging.

The only thing I modified was to knit full-length sleeves, which also meant I had to change the rate of decreases.

All in all, this is a really lovely wardrobe staple!
