Stole(n)
This lace stole was knitted way back in July 2009. I’ve never really used it much because I don’t usually wear rectangular stoles. Someone on Ravelry (I forgot who) had a brilliant idea for unused rectangular stoles: sow the ends together to make an infinity cowl! I might just do that because this is too gorgeous to be tucked away in the back of the closet.
On Ravelry: Lily of the Valley Stole
Pattern: Lily of the Valley Shawl by Nancy Bush from Lace Style
Yarn: 3 skeins (502 m / 549 yd) of Hjertegarn Alpaca Silk (60% alpaca, 30% merino, 10% silk) in color #403 (graphite)
Needle: 4.5 mm
Mods:
I used a DK-weight yarn instead of the lace weight specified in the pattern.
Didn’t do the edging because I didn’t have enough yarn.
Added 6/0 frosted glass seed beads instead of nupps.
